When a table becomes a chair .

An Oak chair which is a table with a slot in the back.

The table /chairs were added to this extending table dad made for a client. The backs echo the clients chairs.

And put away when not needed.

What to do with a corner. A desk and light might help.

Ok so you dont have a bed in a hall , but the mirror would be good in a hall.

Here is a topical one. Dad designed and made this library for Charles Saatchi when he was married to Doris Lockhart. She was a great enthusiast of minimalism where as Charles was not as enthusiastic, so dad came up with these shelves made of 1 inch thick exposed birchplywood . He tried to balance the two styles of both clients.. The pillars were cupboards.
